Climate Justice

Climate justice is not just an environmental issue—it's a moral imperative. It's about ensuring that vulnerable communities are dealt with and do not disproportionately bear the burdens of climate change, from extreme weather to rising sea levels.

By advocating for equitable policies and investments, we can create a sustainable future where everyone, regardless of background or income, has clean air, safe water, and a stable climate. Together, we can build resilient communities and leave a healthier planet for future generations.

If elected, I will fight to bring issues of climate justice to the forefront of discussions. This includes:

Implementing ambitious policies to transition Massachusetts towards renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

Investing in infrastructure and community resilience projects that protect vulnerable areas from the impacts of climate change, including sea level rise, extreme weather events, and urban heat islands.

Ensuring that environmental policies prioritize communities disproportionately affected by pollution and climate impacts, advocating for fair distribution of environmental benefits and burdens.

Promoting sustainable agriculture, transportation, and waste management practices that reduce our carbon footprint and promote a circular economy.
